Kohl Rabi x each

£0.99

This knobbly bulbous brassica has a peculiar, alien-like look with its pale green colour and strange protruding stems. The name literally translates as 'cabbage turnip', but this belies its excellent juicy crispness and light flavour, which is slightly sweet and milder than both a cabbage and a turnip. This is a two-in-one vegetable - the leaves taste almost as good as the kohlrabi itself.

AND its grown only 3 miles away from our depot in Pudsey!

Sold individually.

Excellent quality vegetable

That lovely very popular in Poland vegetable is unavailable in English supermarkets. Very fresh and decent quality.
Very happy that I've found a source finally.

Pleased to hear that you were happy to find it, during the in season months we get this from our local farmer in Pudsey! It can be very hard to find in the supermarkets :(
