Most delicious mackerel we’d ever tasted

I was previously not a great lover of smoked or oily fish but these fillets have definitely converted me. Tender, juicy fish meat encased in an easy to cut tasty, hot but not too hot skin,

Not too salty

These were delicious grilled with some grated raw mooli radish and a touch of soy sauce - an easy Japanese recipe for any oily fish. The mackerel had just the right amount of saltiness.
n.b. you need to grate the radish really fine, using a parmesan grater if possible, so the radish becomes fluffy
