Rolled Pizza and Heritage Tomato Salad
For The Dough
Pour the Bread flour into a bowl with the yeast and add the water. Stir through till it is combined into a dough.
Knead the dough for about 5 minutes.
Put the dough into an oiled bowl and leave to prove for an hour till it has doubled in size.
For the Filling
Knead the dough some more and then roll out into a rectangular shape.
Down the middle of the dough, layer the pizza with as much charcuterie as you desire, add sundried tomatoes, grated cheese, mozzarella and basil.
Trim the edges of the dough and roll the pizza by flipping the end over and tucking the edges in.
Skewer the pizza and drizzle in olive oil. Leave to prove for 20 minutes. Preheat your oven to 200 degrees
Put in the oven for 25-35 minutes until golden.
For Your Salad
Slice the heritage tomatoes and put into a bowl, salt and marinade in olive oil.
Thinly slice the red onion and put into a bowl and add the red wine vinegar, leave to macerate.
Once the Pizza is cooked
Once the pizza is crispy on top and hard to touch at the bottom, it is ready - cut the ends off (which will just be dough) then slice up to serve with the salad!
